Here’s a quick itinerary for an unforgettable morning in the Wedgewood Houston Nashville area.

8:00 AM – Americano Coffee Lounge

Start off your day with a classic coffee drink from one of the neighborhood’s newest coffee lounges, Americano Coffee Lounge. As you can likely tell by our name, we serve Americanos, but we also offer freshly-brewed lattes, espressos, and drip coffee. Compared to other cafes and coffee shops, we take pride in the fact that we are a lounge. We aim to be a community gathering place where people will want to visit at all times of the day and soak up the ambiance in our comfortable furniture.

9:00 AM – Dozen Bakery

Now that you’ve gotten your caffeine fix, you’re likely hungry for breakfast. Luckily, Dozen Bakery, one of the best bakeries and brunch spots in Nashville is practically right around the corner from Americano Coffee Lounge. Dozen Bakery is a locally-owned business that supports vendors, farmers, and artisans who believe in supporting the local community and deliver the freshest ingredients available.

The bakery is open for brunch on the weekends, and you get classics like egg sandwiches and split baguettes, as well as unique items like cornmeal sourdough waffles and tartines. If you’re got a sweet tooth, you can treat yourself to one of their croissants, scones, muffins, cookies, or brownie bars.

10:00 AM – Art Gallery Walk

Wedgewood Houston is quickly becoming the foremost arts hub in Nashville. One of the leading artists is the neighborhood is David Lusk, and his gallery showcases artists from around the country who feature a whole spectrum of artistic practices.
